The single most common rehabilitation failure in sports injury is returning to play before the tissue and the athlete are ready. Return-to-play criteria — objective strength, function, and psychological readiness measures — protect against re-injury substantially better than time-based clearance.
What we treat
We treat acute musculoskeletal injuries including strains, sprains, and tendon or ligament damage. Our clinic provides post-surgical return-to-sport rehabilitation for ACL, rotator cuff, ankle, and other procedures. We manage overuse and chronic injuries such as tendinopathies, stress reactions, and repetitive strain. Additionally, we deliver concussion return-to-play protocols in coordination with sports medicine, alongside sport-specific biomechanical assessments to address issues affecting performance and injury risk.
Our approach
Sport-specific assessment — what the sport demands, what the athlete's current capability is, what the gap is. A periodised rehabilitation program that progresses from tissue protection through strength rebuilding to sport-specific work to full return. Strength and conditioning components tailored to the athlete's sport and level. Objective return-to-play testing before clearance. Coordination with the athlete's coach, team, and medical team.
Outcome measures we use
- Sport-specific Outcome Measures (KOOS, IKDC, FAAM, etc.)
- Tegner Activity Scale
- Hop Test Batteries
- Isokinetic Strength Testing
- Y-Balance Test
- Sport-specific Drill Testing
- Psychological Readiness Measures

Frequently asked questions
Can you work with my coach or team?
Yes — and we strongly prefer to. Coordination with the athlete's coaching and training environment improves outcomes substantially.
Do you do strength and conditioning?
We integrate strength and conditioning into sports rehabilitation programs. For pure performance-based S&C work outside of injury rehabilitation, we refer to specialist S&C providers.
When can I return to my sport?
Determined by objective return-to-play criteria, not by time. We administer the relevant testing and provide a written return-to-play clearance for you, your coach, and your medical team.
Do you treat children and adolescent athletes?
Yes. Adolescent sports injuries (growth-related injuries, ACL injuries in young athletes, throwing-arm injuries) need specific consideration.
